Supervisor Maintenance
Remuneration: Salary commencing at $83,334.16 per annum plus allowances + Commuter Use Vehicle and 13 per cent superannuation

Role Overview
Deliver maintenance for roads, bridges, and associated transport assets; with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service. Ensure financial management, quality products, value for money, timely delivery and the health and safety of staff.
What we are looking for?
Council is seeking an experienced supervisor with a strong customer service focus to supervise maintenance teams. As the Supervisor - Maintenance, some of the duties and responsibilities you could expect to be involved with include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise and co-ordinate the day-to-day operational functions and staff
- Coordinate the human and physical resources in order to carry out maintenance
- Coordinate staff training and facilitate staff development within their work
- Support scheduler in planning of works for day to day operations and forward programming
- Participate in at least one continuous improvement project per
- Engage, direct, and supervise contractors
- Manage delivery of maintenance activities in line with Legislation and Council Policies
- Functions (e.g. plant Provide leadership, support and advice to Operators in the performance of their day-to-day troubleshooting).
Essential experience, tickets, licenses and certificates include:
- Demonstrated ability in leadership and management of
- Experience in planning, coordinating and monitoring operational maintenance
- The ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrated ability to implement and foster a customer service
Special conditions associate with this role include:
- Participation in the roads on call roster.
- Out of hours’ work (including weekends).
- Regular local travel.
- Respond to Emergency/Disaster events in accordance with Council’s Emergency Management plans and systems.
