Summer Break Internship Program
Remuneration: Earn a gross weekly wage of $1082 for 28 hours per week plus up to 13% Super.

About the program
Are you currently studying, or have recently graduated and seek to apply your knowledge in industry? The Summer Break Internship Program is a minimum 12-week paid internship program with Gympie Regional Council that will prepare you for your career through contacts, experience, and confidence.
The program commences in November 2024 and ends late February 2025, working 4 x 7-hour days each week. There will be an unpaid break from 24 December 2024 to 6 January 2025.
You can expect to earn a gross weekly wage of $1082 for 28 hours per week plus superannuation of 13%.

About you:
- To be eligible for the Summer Break Internship Program, you must:
- Be enrolled in a relevant tertiary course at the University of the Sunshine Coast or on other Queensland campus and have completed 16 or more subjects; or
- Have recently completed a relevant tertiary course at the University of the Sunshine Coast or other Queensland campus (within 12 months of graduation); and
- Be able to commence on November 25, 2024, and work through to mid-February 2025 with a short break over Christmas-New Year.
