Remuneration: $41.42 per hour including Attraction Bonus plus, plus allowances, and plus up to 13% superannuation.

Role Overview
As a Specialist Fitter/Diesel Mechanic, you will be required to diagnose, service and maintain council’s diesel plant and machinery to required standards, maintain records and ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a qualified and experienced fitter/diesel mechanic, who has the skill and ability with fault diagnostics, as well as mechanical aptitude. A team player, as well as the person with the skill to work independently, sometimes remotely, will do well in this role.
To be considered, you should have:
- AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Queensland ‘Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence – Class HR’ or above that is current and maintained.
- Queensland General Construction Induction (White/Blue card).
- Queensland High Risk Work Licence – FL (Forklift truck) that is current and maintained.
- Experience in servicing and repairing heavy machinery.
